At ACANA, we’re passionate about our foods and the authenticity of everything that goes into them, which is why we focus on ingredients that are fresh and produced in our region by people we know and trust.
Our saltwater fish are sustainable and wild-caught from New England’s cold and fertile waters, and our freshwater fish from American waters – all whisked to our DogStar Kitchen fresh or raw.
Caught wild by fishermen we know and trust, like Eoin of Norpel Fisheries in New England, our Atlantic herring, mackerel, yellowtail flounder, silver hake, and monkfish are delivered FRESH or RAW and loaded with goodness. Sustainably harvested, our fresh, whole saltwater fish are loaded with essential DHA and EPA, Omega-3 fatty acids, and richly nourishing fish protein.
Sustainably harvested by fishermen we know and trust, like Dennis of Louisville Fish Company and Michael of Kentucky Freshwater Fisheries, blue catfish and yellow perch are sourced from federally inspected facilities and delivered RAW (frozen at peak freshness), and brimming with goodness. Sustainably harvested, our freshwater fish are loaded with essential DHA and EPA, Omega-3 fatty acids, and richly nourishing fish protein.
