Meet Floyd the LionLongmont, CO
A life in the spotlight isn’t for everycat. Just ask Floyd. While he appears to the naked eye as a domesticated housecat, Floyd bears the heart – and mane – of a lion.
His days are busy. A little morning yoga, a refreshing cat-grass session, walks – no, wait, saunters around town, and on-demand attention and cuddles mean Floyd lives a life of luxury. A veritable celebrity, Floyd’s large following on Instagram are treated to heavy doses of adorable, impressive, and hilarious accounts of his everyday life.
Floyd’s moms, Susie and Cami, have been feeding their little lion both ORIJEN and ACANA since kittenhood. Floyd’s preferences lean towards ACANA, though. He loves his Wild Atlantic and Meadowland, as well as ORIJEN Freeze-Dried Treats.
“Floyd’s health is just as important as our own, and the choice of what to feed him was made with the same care.”
Susie and Cami first learned of the brands while researching pet foods that had the best, most wholesome ingredients. “Floyd’s health is just as important as our own, and the choice of what to feed him was made with the same care.”
Floyd’s celebrity status even earned mom Susie a tour of Champion’s DogStar Kitchen in Kentucky, where she got to see firsthand where Floyd’s food comes from and how it’s made. Though he remains humble, Floyd’s fame can feel like a full-time job, and he still needs to adhere to his strict nap schedule. This funny, loving, friendly boy fills his moms’ lives – and the lives of his 63k followers – with joy.
He will not be signing pawtographs at this time. Please direct all publicity inquiries to @floydthelion on Instagram.
